Enhance The Great Salsa Showdown with a Margarita themed Mixology competition.

THE GREAT SALSA SHOWDOWN

In this culinary team building activity, your group will be

divided into small teams. Each team will be challenged

with creating the best tasting salsa from scratch. Teams

will also be asked to come up with a creative name & jar

label along with a marketing slogan.

The team activity starts with the teams collaborating

on a name for their salsa and selecting ingredients

for the salsa. In the center of the room will be a salsa

marketplace with a selection of spices, chopped

tomatoes, peppers and various ingredients. The team

will then make their salsa and put in jars.

Teams will present their salsa and marketing slogan to

the judges. Prizes (prizes not included) will be awarded

on taste, creativity and presentation. The tone of your

Salsa Showdown will be set as teams work to the beat

of Latin music.

BBQ ON THE BAY

Enjoy a BBQ themed dinner while viewing the Monterey

Bay from our Pacific View Courtyard. Our Chef will be

there to prepare your favorites on the grill.

Dinner will be served buffet style with the option of

cooked to-order, on the grill. Ask your Catering Manager

about some games that can be added for interactive play.

MIXOLOGY

Group Size: 8 – 32 people

Time Needed: 1.0 – 3.0 hours

Pricing: $78 per person (minimum 8)

In this Mixology team building activity, your group will be

divided into small teams. Each team will be challenged

with creating the best tasting cocktail. Teams will also

be asked to come up with a creative name along with a

marketing slogan.

The team activity starts with a champagne reception.

The group is split into teams based upon the number

of attendees. Our facilitator will provide a brief and

interactive introduction about spirits. There also will be

a demonstration on how to build craft cocktails.

Each team will have their own bar with all necessary

tools for a standard bar set up, including every spirit,

mixer and garnish, which might be needed.

Teams will present their two best cocktails with their

marketing slogans to the judges. Prizes will be awarded

on taste, creativity and presentation (prizes not

included).

Additions: Passed or displayed Hors d’Oeuvres can be

added for an additional cost.

BOCCE AND ITALIAN CUISINE EXPERIENCE

Bocce ball is a popular Italian lawn bowling game which

inspires lively conversation and friendly competition.

Bocce To Go will supply everything you need, including

portable courts on our beautiful Pacific View Courtyard

or in The Pacific Ballroom. All you need to bring is

enthusiasm and team spirit. This insider experience

includes two bocce ball courts, Italian string lighting,

chef’s Italian menu, Italian beverage menu, colorful

centerpieces and live accordion music.
