Student Feedback
I personally liked the teamed based
setting of the course. it helps
out a lot.
In terms of organization, this course was pretty
great and fun.
Organization of the course using this particular classroom was excellent. This is my last semester at UF and this was
by far the best atmosphere for learning I have come across.
The room … was well-suited to this topic
and means of delivering content.
Adaptable• One size does NOT fit all• Follow essential structure• Adapt to fit needs of:
– Instructor– Content– Students– Space

Learning is not a spectator sport…
“Students do not learn much just by sitting in class listening to teachers, memorizing prepackaged assignments, and spitting out answers. They must talk about what they are learning, write about it, relate it to past experiences, apply it to their daily lives. They must make what they learn part of themselves.”
Chickering and Gamson “Seven principles for good practice.” AAHE Bulletin 39 (March 1987), 3-7
“The only pathway that
seems unproductive for learning is the pathway that excludes
testing of ideas.”

The rewards are worth it
History shows us that the people who end up changing the world… are always nuts, until they’re right, and then they’re geniuses.
