History of theInstitution
Society for Human Education and Development, Bareilly is of the view that only the devoted teachers canuplift the morale of the disarrayed youth by way of providing quality education. With this commitment thesociety established a college namely Jyoti College of Management Science & Technology, Bareilly in 2003
and in the first instance efforts were made to get recognition for a Teacher Training Program so as toenable the college to provide well trained teachers for the betterment of the society. In 2005-06 Bachelor
of Education (B.Ed) program was started in the college with a capability of 100 seats(02 Units). The collegeis at present running B.Ed. course with 02 additional intake if 200 seats (04 Units) Total 300 Seats (06
Units). Besides, the college has been recognized for M.Ed. course in 2015-16. It is worth mentioning thatall the courses running in the college successfully and producing good results.

Besides bookish /scholarly knowledge to the B.Ed. and M.Ed. students, the college gives practicaltraining . The students go in the villages and arrange meeting to tell the people about the
programmes launched by the Govt. for the upliftment of the weaker society. Not only this, theyalso help the villagers in approaching for the meetings with civil authorities of the Block
Development level so that needy persons may get benefit of the programmes launched by thegovernment.
