When is it celebrated?

• Te Maeva Nui is celebrated every year in late July to early August for one week. During the week of celebrations a trade fair is held where each island brings food, presents, arts, crafts and music on a specific day.

Where is it celebrated?

Te Maeva Nui is celebrated at the

National Auditorium in

Tupapa. All 15 islands go to the

National Auditorium in Tupapa.

How is it celebrated?Te Maeva Nui is the

biggest festival in the Cook Islands and it is

celebrated by showing what you can do and there is also a trade fair where all of the 15 islands bring food, dances, arts, crafts, music and

presents to Tupapa.
