• 80% Zambians live in poverty

Five beehives are distributed per household,
increasing accordingly with performance
Nearly 1000 families impacted so far
Healthy swarm being transferred
Households produce an average of 27kg of honey per hive, per year, enabling up to
between $150 to $400 additional income per year
There are currently 6 schemes in operation
Each scheme has an average of 100 households
Average family size is 7
Project currently benefiting 4200 people in vicinity
Farmers are paid $1 per kg of raw honey
Currently, the honey is sold locally for $4 per kg

• Wax
• Propolis
• Royal Jelly
Bee Sweet works in conjunction with Give Hope Trust
