4.0 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:Step Diagram

1. Slide outer shaft inside of large bearings attached to wheelchair.

2. Slide inner shaft inside of outer shaft oriented as shown.

3. Put left end shaft of gear hub into sliding holder on wheelchair as shown. The left side is the side that does not take input. Tighten nuts on both sides of sliding holder.

Step Diagram4. Slide support shaft into holder from the left side

5. Connect large sprocket to sprocket holder on outer shaft

Tighten nine M4 socket head cap screws to 3 ft-lbs

6. Slide small sprocket onto inner shaft and secure with set screw

Tighten ¼”-20 set screw to 7.25 ft-lbs

Slide both chains over both gear hub and inner shaft.

7. Attach slider support to both support shaft and gear hub shaft as shown, tightening both bolts on the support shaft and the gear hub

Torque values
