Objectives Appreciating the communicative value of the foreign language Understanding oral texts related to familiar situations Relating the spelling, pronunciation and meaning words Using the foreign language for communication with other students 3. Teaching English The methodology will be basically, communicative, active and participative Children have to understand messages and for it we have to teach:- Words (vocabulary) - Make sentences (grammar) - How to speak (pronunciation) - How to write (spelling) 4. Vocabulary When we teach vocabulary we should use methods for their motivation. For example:- Use their favorite cartoons with the parts of the body 5. Games to memorizing Give some cards where you can read a word. For example one boy have tomatoes so he have to find another boy with the food vocabulary Colour game: There are some hoops in different colours on the floor and the teacher say: blue! And all the pupils have to go to the blue hoop. 6. Listening The teacher should always speak in English Children have to listen to develop their pronunciation Learn with songs is easier than other methodologies 7. Speaking In English class the pupils have to speak in English, Spanish language is forbidden. They have to use the main expressions in the class. 8. Reading It is one of the four basic skills needed to gain competence in mastering a language Text should be adapted to the learners cognitive development Texts should enhance motivation and promote self-esteem. Neither to easy not to difficult. 9. Writing The pupils should write texts adapted to their cognitive With writing the pupils put into practice: Syntactic knowledge, Morphological knowledge, General world knowledge etc.
