TASK 16- BAND RESEARCH

Kunk- Punk with a twist. The band I have chosen to produce

a music video for is a band called Kunk. They are a local band that play locally and nationally and have been on various radio stations including BBC radio stations.

Kunk are a band that is made of family members and close friends. There are three members of the band after the bass guitarist left to pursue other passions.

The genre of Kunk’s music is a cross between rock and soft punk. This hybrid style of music attracts a wide audience that come across Norfolk and surrounding counties to spectate the band.

The band usually play at venues that have committed to showcasing the best talent in the alternative music industry.

These venues include B2- At the Brickmakers, the Waterfront and the Marquee pub in Norwich.

The band also use this website to advertise merchandise that relate to the band. For example, on MySpace, the band have a Kunk shop where fans a and followers can buy merchandise such as t-shirts to show their support for the band when they are on tour or performing at local venues.
