1) The Film Industry consists of producing films2) The British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) is a non-governmental organisation. It is fundedby the film industry and is responsible for the national classification and censorship of films within the United Kingdom. It has a requirement to classify videos, DVDs and some video games. The BBFC was originally called British Board of Film Censors3) Some key people involved in the Film industry are:Walt Disney- Produced the first animation filmCharlie Chaplin- Considered to be one of the most pivotal stars of the early days ofHollywood4) The Walt Disney productions is one of the most famous parts of film industry. It is best known for the products of its film studio, The Walt Disney Studios. Its one of the largest and best-known studios in Hollywood. Disney also owns and operates the ABC broadcast television network; cable television networks such as Disney Channel, ESPN, and many more. They own and license 14 theme parks around the world. 1) The Print Industry is responsible for print media, for example, magazines and newspapers. 2) The Print Industry is not currently governed by anyone, this means that they are free to write

whatever they want which cannot always be ethical towards other.3) Some key people involved in the Print Industry are:Rupert Murdoch: The founder, Chairman and CEO of global media holding company News Corporation. 1) The Advertising Industry create averts (e.g. posters, TV adverts) to persuade the population to buy products.

2) The governing body of the Advertising Industry is the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA). Its role is to regulate the content of advertisements, sales promotions and direct marketing in the UK. It also deals with complaints made about adverts, sales promotions and direct marketing.

1) The Photo Industry produces most of todays photo journalism. These can be the images we see in Fashion magazines, newspapers etc..

2) The Photography Industry does not currently have a governing as there is so many sectors within the industry it is impossible to cover them all.

1) The Television Industry broadcasts all TV channels, shows, movies etc. that we watch day in day out.

2) Ofcom (Office of Communications) is the governing body for the TV industry. Ofcom launched on 29 December 2003, it regulates when and what is aired on TV.

3) Key people/channels within the industry:David Jeremy Darroch- The Chief Executive of British Sky.BBC- The British Broadcasting Corporation- The largest broadcaster in the world by number of employees, with about 23,000 staff.
