TARYN WILLIAMS Taryn Williams is the Founder and Managing Director of WINK Models, a leading Australian commercial modelling agency. Williams founded WINK Models in 2007, driven to create positive change in an industry she loved, through the use of her networks, knowledge and experience. Williams is a top young entrepreneur, having been recognised several times for her achievements, being named as a Smart Company Hot 30 under 30 and most recently as a Finalist in the 2015 B&T Hot 30 under 30. The style and offer that is WINK Models is borne out of Williams’ early years spent in the world of modelling, advertising and media. Approached by an agency at 15, Williams started her career in front of the lens, travelling the world on international assignments and working for big brands including Qantas, Virgin Mobile, Lynx and Vo5. While modelling, Williams also worked in event management and as a photographic advertising producer, allowing her the opportunity to gain valuable insight into the various facets of the media and advertising industries. It was during this time that Williams knew she could improve the existing landscape with an agency that provided clients with a higher quality service while providing a fair and supportive environment for talent. WINK Models attracted clients from day one, leveraging off Williams’ strong personal brand and reputation to deliver. The WINK Models business has thrived on being flexible and adaptable to client needs.
