During consultations held in Valletta from Au^us*"

16 Co 19, 1933 regarding imports of certain textile

products from Malta Co Sweden, representatives of Che

GovernmenC of che Republic of Malta and che Government

of Sweden agreed as follows:

During Che period July 1, 1933 - June 30, 1923, Che

GovernmenC of Sweden will adnic imports, through a

system of imporC licences, for deliveries from Malta

to Sweden of Che products of Maltese origin listed

in Che Annex Co Chese minutes up Co Che levels

staced therein.

The GovernnenC of Sweden will forward Co Che Government

of the Republic of Malta monchly information on a

cumulative basis of licences issued for imports as well

as monthly statistics of imports from Malta of the items

listed in the Annex. This information shall be forwarded

directly Co Che Department of Trade of Malta by Che

Swedish Board of Commerce.

The GovernmenC of Che Republic of Malta and Che Government

of Sweden agree to consult each other, at the rsouest of

either party, if any problem should arise from the

implementation of this agreement. The Government of the

Republic of Malta and the Government of Sweden agree

furthermore to enter into consultations, before the end

of the period of agreement, on che conditions of a new

agreement.

If consulCations do not resulc, within a reasonable

period of Cime, in a mutually satisfaccory soluCion

and Chis would resulc in serious damage Co Sweden's

domestic producers of like or cireccly competicivo product

the government of Sweden may appLy limiCations to the

exCent and for such a cime as may be found necessary.

Richer Government may denounce this agreement

by giving notice in writing through diplomatic

channels ac lease ninety days before Che end

of each twelve month agreement period. In that

event the agreement will expire at the end of

that agreement period.

The Parties agreed to conclude the above agreement

by an exchange of notes between the two sides.

Agreed Minute

In accordance with the Agreement between Sweden and the

Republic of Malta regarding imports of certain textile

products from Malta to Sweden signed on August 19, 1983,

consultations between representatives of the Government of

Sweden and the Government of the Republic of Malta were held

in Stockholm on June 25-26, 1985.

During the consultations the two parties agreed that as from

July 1, 1985, the Annex of the Agreed Minutes signed in
