Asparagus Peru Markets are stronger as Mexico production finishes and

volume from Peru increases. Volume from California and

Washington will improve. Sizing and quality are both good.

Broccoli CA Broccoli markets are stable; quality is mostly good with only

occasional defects (flowering/open beads) and supplies

good.

Cabbage FL Supplies are good with increasing demand. Quality is good.

Carrots MX Market conditions are stable.

Cauliflower CA. Cauliflower markets are strong with lower than forecasted

supplies pulling from the West.

Celery FL, CA Condition and quality are steady and markets are softer.

Smaller sizes are limited. Oxnard is the main shipping area

and we are still seeing twisting in smaller sizes.

Corn FL Florida corn is harvesting with good quality reported.

Markets are active as demand keeps pace.

Cucumbers FL, MX Cucumber supplies from Honduras are light, and markets

have eased as Florida volumes increase.

Eggplant FL, MX Eggplant markets are better and quality is fair to good, with

mostly choice available.

Green Beans FL Supplies and quality are increasing and markets are startingto come off.

Herbs CA, FL, SA Markets are steady. Good supplies.

Lettuce Iceberg CA Lettuce markets are up and fields transition from Huron to

Salinas and quality continues to improve, with volumes

stable.

MX, CA All lettuces are showing increased quality with stronger

demand being met with ample supplies.

CA Lettuce markets are up as fields transition from Huron to

Salinas; quality continues to improve and volumes are

stable. Please note: tip burn and wind burn will affect alltypes of leaf lettuce due to strong winds this past week.

Salinas; quality continues to improve and volumes are

CA Spring mix quality has stabilized. Supplies are good with

good quality being reported.

Mushrooms CA, PA, CH Stable supplies of most mushrooms with good quality.

Onions WA, TX Sheds are beginning to finish up in the northwest area,putting pressure on markets. Texas availability is getting

better. All Red Onions will be tight for the next few weeks.

Onions Green MX, CA Markets are stable with adequate volumes.

Peas Snow GT Markets are stronger with good quality.

Peppers Chiles FL Quality is good with tighter supplies.

Peppers Green FL, MX Florida Green Pepper markets are strong and holding at the

higher level as recent erratic weather impacted volume.

Fields are transitioning to Northern Florida.

MX Mexican Red Pepper markets are up slightly. Yellow Pepper

markets are steady and supplies are stable. The colored

pepper market will be trending higher as the season winds

down.

Potatoes Russet ID Russet Potato markets are steady and quality is good.

CN, US Florida Red and Yellow Potato markets are stronger.

Potatoes Yams MS, LA Supplies are good with great quality.

Spinach CA Supplies and quality have improved over the last week.

Markets have stabilized with improved quality.

Squash

Yellow/Zucchini

FL, MX Squash markets are off with increased supplies better from

North Florida.

Tomatoes FL, MX Round Tomato markets have strengthened as Floridas

fields transition. Fields were impacted in Immokalee from

bloom drop and rain; a gap may occur in the next couple of

weeks. Mexico volumes are down and Ruskin is expected to

start in two weeks. Grape and Cherry markets are firm.

Plum Tomatoes are active.

Apples WA, NY The Apple season continues with lower than averagesupplies especially on smaller fruit.

Avocado, Hass MX, CA Markets and supplies are stable with good demand. Quality

is good.

Bananas Guatemala, Costa

Rica

The supply has stabilized in the various growing regions.

Color is improving as the season progresses. Quality is good.

MX Markets have eased as volume is better from Guatemala.

Quality is good.

Mexico. Prorates are likely. Quality is good.

CA We are seeing a split market between the California growing

areas. Be wary as Oxnard markets are low, reflecting quality

issues. Santa Maria and Watsonville quality is better and

volumes are increasing.

Citrus - Grapefruit FL, TX Quality is good. Supplies are better on larger sizes.

Citrus Lemons CA Markets are still up on larger sizes with 165 count and

smaller sizes your better bet. Quality is good to excellent.Citrus Limes MX Smaller size markets are off. Expect larger size supplies to be

tight for the next couple weeks as markets cycle though. The

new crop has started with smaller sizes trending.

Citrus Oranges CA , Fl. All sizes and grades are tight; expect markets to increase

across the board as navels are winding down. Valencia

oranges are available with mostly small and choice sizes

predominate.

Grapes Chile Red and Globe Grape markets are stable for now, but may

increase as there are talks of strike due to the Marketing

Order (the threshold of quality allowed). Black Grapes are

finishing soon, and markets are reflecting the limited

supplies. Green Grape markets are still reflecting two tier

market. Thompsons quality is fair with Sugar Ones/Princess a

better choice.

Kiwifruit IT Quality and volume are fine.

Cantaloupe &

Honeydew

GT, HN Markets are running small for both sizes. Cantaloupe

supplies are light and markets have increased. Honeydew

sugar and quality is good. Nogales has started.

Melons

Watermelon

GT,HN Supplies are improved as product arrives from Honduras and

Mexico. Quality has improved on seeded and seedless.

Pears WA Bosc, Anjou and Bartlett varieties are coming fromWashington. Markets are stable with quality fruit.

Pineapple Costa Rica Supplies are consistent with good quality. Brix has been

averaging 12% with average internal gold color.
