Target audience research

The rock genre is a style of music that is listened to and followed around the world by both the male and female gender and across all age groups. However, the most predominant target audience for the rock genre would be aimed at males aged between 18 and 50, most likely of white English descent and not a family man as younger listeners may not be as common but they may have a partner who shares their passion for rock music. A female target audience would most likely feature people aged between 30 and 50 but it is a predominantly male orientated style of music.
