Taragadh(The Star Fort)@SJat5The Bundi Fort has its ramparts spreading out like arms of a star all over along the Naag Hill and that is why it came to be known as Taragadh The Star Fort.

@SJat61354 A.D. (Rao Raja Var Singh)This fort was constructed by Hada Rajputs who were considered to be Fire Born, and were renowned for their prowess in battle from Kabul to Deccan.

It was built in 1354 by Rao Raja Var Singh in 1426.And its ramparts were constructed by Jaipur Fauzdar Dalai Singh.

There is one massive cannon kept on Bhim Burj the highest Bastion of Bundi Fort.It is said that when this cannon was fired, the stomachs of people used to shake, and that is why it is called Garbh-Gunjan.Garbh-Gunjan@SJat7
