Capture, evaluate, store, and visualizetransformer data and drive the on-loadtap-changer. TAPMOTION® ED ISM®.Integrated intelligence.

As well as driving the on-load tap-changer, theTAPMOTION® ED ISM® enables all relevant power trans-former operating data to be captured and evaluated: For example, tap-changer monitoring or evaluations of transformer utilization. TAPMOTION® ED ISM® helps to purposefully plan operation and maintenance. The sturdy housing protects both the tap changer‘s motordrive unit and the integrated monitoring system. The TAPMOTION® ED ISM® is ideally suited to upgrading monitoring of older and smaller transformers.

Automation solutions such as voltage regulation and cooling control are optionally available with the TAP-MOTION® ED ISM® and can be used as complement for transformer control.

We would be happy to advise and help develop solu-tions tailored to your needs. Of course, we can also undertake commissioning on site if requested.

Be on the safe side when operating on-load tap-changers and transformers. With a robust drive and integrated expert knowledge. The increasing meshingof networks and the need for greater availability and reliability from theequipment make continuous condition monitoring and evaluation indispensable. The TAPMOTION® ED ISM® motor-drive unit is a practical way of simplifying operational control and asset management.

Minimum wiring, maximum flexibility.

The intelligent TAPMOTION® ED ISM® motor-drive unit is delivered from the factory with our ISM® Tech-nology. This is particularly well suited to the special conditions of energy technology. Commissioning is quick and easy as the transformer sensors can be connected and configured with ease. In addition to the superior monitoring functions, you also benefit from the freely assignable in- and outputs, enabling you to design your transformer monitoring as you wish.

The data captured and evaluated can be transferreddirectly to the control system. This greatly reducesthe amount of wiring needed during installation andsignificantly cuts costs compared with the conven-tional connection method. An integrated web serverwith ISM® Intuitive Control Interface (IICI) displaysthe data so there is no need for the time-consumingprocess of installing software packages.
