MYNIC Berhad was invited to join the Bicycle Jamboree Tournament that was held on 22 October 2016 in conjunction with Tamu Besar Festival, an annual event hosted in Kota Belud.

With an outstanding total of 789 participants including from Brunei Darussalam, the event was officially launched by the Minister of Communication & Multimedia, YB Datuk Seri Dr Salleh Tun Said Keruak as he also joined the cycling together with his wife YBhg Datin Seri Hajah Raya Erom for 5 km. The event was also attended by national cycling athletes, Fatehah Mustapa and the pocket rocketman, Azizul Hasni

Awang. Tamu Besar is one of the biggest cultural events in Sabah that highlights local goods such as foods and handicraft, traditional sports such as buffalo racing and the anticipated crowning of Ratu Serempak (beauty queen).

It was a great experience for MYNIC to able to join such fascinating cultural event that promotes healthy lifestyle and cultural diversity!

MYNIC shortlisted as top 5 finalist for HRDF Award 2016MYNIC was shortlisted as top five (5) finalist for two (2) awards from four (4) categories in HRDF Awards 2016 that was held on 6 December 2016 at Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. The two awards are: Human Resources Minister Award & HRDF Award.

The Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) Award is a celebration and recognition for organization and corporate entity that contributes significantly towards human capital development underscoring the culture of learning and development that elevates employee competencies.

MYNIC was shortlisted among other prominent key players in various industries such as Perodua, Prasarana, Panasonic, Ranhill and many more.

Coffee With MYNIC In line with company philosophy, MYNIC continues to work closely with clients and business partners. Coffee with MYNIC is a program engaging with stakeholders through a sharing session with a twist in the program concept in a more "chill & relax" mood.

The sharing session that was held on 11 November 2016 at B1 Hall, Ministry of Communication & Multimedia (KKMM), Putrajaya joined by 100 participants representing KKMM and related government agencies.

Began with a welcoming speech by Encik Talib Sabri Sulaiman, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of MYNIC, the 2 hours session is filled with variety of fun and interactive activities including games, quizzes and product presentation by MYNIC such as

Calling all creative content entrepeneurs!KREATIFMARKET.MY is an online marketplace designed specifically for local digital creative content. This is an opportunity for any creative technopreneurs out there to turn their ideas and creative works into profit.

For start, KREATIFMARKET.MY kicks off in November 2016 and continues progressing through a couple of acceptance test and series of training with 500 students from public and private universities such as UiTM, UniKL and Unisel.

On 24 November 2016, MYNIC gave a talk on Defacement Alert Service (DEALS) awareness for Network Security Industry Talk. The program was organized by Malaysian Communication and Malaysian Commission (MCMC). The talk took place at MCMC building in Cyberjaya. The audience that attended was from the industries, local universities, banks and MCMC licensees.

MYNIC was represented by its Chief Operation Officer (COO), Tuan Syed Musa-AlKadzim Albar in the first session started at 9.30 a.m. A total of 131 people participated in the program.

Deals awareness talk

Pusat Internet Desa (PID) is one of initiative by Ministry of Communication & Multimedia (KKMM) to provide internet service facility for rural community. It is the responsibility for KKMM to improvise the facility of 42 PID in order to ensure it is well maintained to be fully utilized by the community.

Through a visits to several PID in Kedah and Perlis on 26 – 28 November 2016, MYNIC Berhad plans to collaborate with KKMM to enhance the facility of PID throughout the entire nation.

eNTERWIP Convention Usahawan OnlineAs an organization that continues to support nation’s socio – economic agenda, MYNIC Berhad collaborates with eNTERWIP together with other related agencies and companies organizing a convention for online entrepreneur that was held on 30 September – 2 October 2016 at Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC).

The convention includes seminar and workshop to help online entrepreneurs and their marketing strategy as well as encouraging their business development as prompted with government initiatives in 11th Malaysia Plan. It is estimated that the 3 days event received a huge crowd of

almost 10,000 participants.

eNTERWIP 2016 were filled with compelling activities including entrepreneurship seminar and workshop moderated by several agencies and famous entrepreneurs such as MUDAH.MY, MATRADE, Irfan Khairi, SKMM, Ahyat Ishak and many more.

In one of the talk session, MYNIC represented by Mohd Ridzuan Mahadir shared an inside track on how to achieve more customers through well-designed domain.

MYNIC has organized the MYNIC-SARC Shah Alam Rugby 10’s tournament. The event was held on 26 November 2016 (Saturday) at SK Taman Tun Dr. Ismail Jaya, Shah Alam. The tournament was officiated by YBhg. Datuk Hasnul Fadhly Hasan, Chief Executive Officer of MYNIC.

In relation to the event, MYNIC hasalso conducted a CSR Program whereby 100 underprivileged school students received

MYNIC has conducted a Corporate Social Responsibility (SCR) program in collaboration with Yayasan Kemanusiaan Muslim Aid Malaysia – a non-government organization. The CSR program was a series of talk set-up for form five students from SMK Bandar Baru Bangi, Jalan Dua on 23rd June 2016. More than 200 student has attended to this program.

The program started at 2.00pm with talk on “Transformasi Diri 360” by Cikgu Yaser, a

panel of Program Assalamualaikum – TV Al Hijrah. Followed by talk on “Jadikan Gajet Anda Mesin Wang” presented by Mohd Firdaus Azizi, a Facebook motivator and the last slot was “Forum Perdana : Media Sosial – Pembina Diri vs Pemusnah Diri” by Mohd Fadzli, a presenter from TV Al Hijrah and Irma Hasmie, a celebrity.

The highlight of the event is the hand over of Mock Cheque Donation worth RM25,000

MYNIC was the main sponsor for the Colombia X Cape Trail Hunt 2016 that was held on 13 November 2016 at Malaysia Agro Exposition Park (MAEPS) Serdang, Selangor. The lively race for a 13 km distance were joined by more than 2,500 participants involving contestants from other countries such as Britain, India, China and many more.

The run was divided into 4 categories: Men & Women Open and Men & Women Veteran. The run began at 7.30

am witnessed a fiery spirit among participants as they experience running on a challenging track where they have to face various obstacles such as slope, muddy and hilly route that tested their endurance and requires them to cooperate each other in order to reach the finishing line.
