Marina beachThe Marina Beach, covered with glittering golden sand and a clear strip of blue sea, is among the most magnificent beaches in India. Sited at Kamarajar Salai Road, at a distance of 3 km from the capital city of Tamil Nadu, it is said to be the second longest beach in the world, extending to a length of 13 km from St. George Fort to Mahabalipuram. Much of credit for converting this beach into a tourist spot goes to Governor Mountstuart Elphinstone Grand Duff, who took the needed measures during the 1880s. Here, the experience of watching the sun rise and set is at its captivating best, and breathtaking

Descent of GangesWalking down along Mada Koil Street, the corridor of historical artistic and architectural enchantment at Mahabalipuram, you are sure to be stupefied by a particularly large, open-air bas-relief called Arjuna’s Penance or the Descent of the Ganges.Measuring a colossal 29 metres in length and 13 metres in height, the Descent of the Ganges is profusely carved with elegant figures ranging from Gods to Godmen and geese to elephants carved on both sides of a natural cleft. Above the cleft was a collecting pool, whence water flowed down, bringing the relief to life!

Kiliyur fallsKiliyur Falls is a waterfall in the Shervaroyan hill range in the Eastern Ghats, Tamil nadu, India. The waters overflowing the Yercaud Lake fall 300 ft (91 m) into the Kiliyur Valley. The falls is situated at a distance of 2.5 km (1.6 mi) from the yercaud lake. The final 500 m (1,600 ft) or so consist only of a rough unpaved steep pathway. But it is a breathtaking sight in the monsoon time when the water levels are at the maximum.[2] The best time to visit this place is immediately after the monsoons.
