The Amorous Adventures of Moll Flanders on Talking Pictures TV

Stars: Kim Novak, Richard Johnson, Angela Lansbury, Vittorio De Sica, Leo McKern, George Sanders, Lilli Palmer. Directed by Terence Young in 1965. The film follows the adventures of an 18th century young woman who finds that losing her virtue is no handicap to a successful career. Based on the Daniel Defoe bawdy novel, Kim Novak is the penniless heroine who finds her way in the world through personal charm. Some of the best moments belong to its largely British supporting cast, including Leo McKern. Airs Friday 3rd July 10:00pm.

The police must solve the mysterious murder of a ventriloquist in a music hall. The film features the film debut of Jack Warner playing a music-hall comedian and singer and a number of genuine variety acts add a flavour of the period. Airs Saturday 5th July 3:50pm.
