Registrar, Lata madam, librarian . Mr. subhash..Athawale & my dearstudents. GM to one & all.SA is consistent and an extremely vibrant association of CHM college . Itprovides a platform for the expression of scientific spirit of the students.Learning science beyond the classroom has been the aim of thisassociation. I have been involved in this association for many years as amember or a Treasurer, but now, madam has given me opportunity towork as chairperson for the academic year 13-14. Thank u madam.Madam, with ur full support & co-operation I will be able to carry out manymany activities under SA. To name few of them are:1) fascinating expts.by my own ex.head of phy. dept., prof. B.D.Ck. It will be followed by

lecture series,in which different resource persons will be invited . lectureseries will be conducted in 3 phases: In phase(1) some of our own ex.HODs from various subjects will be invited. In phase(2) some of our ownpresent teacher colleagues will be invited . In phase(3) Eminentpersonalities from field of education ,Sc. and Tech.like Dr.Jayant. N, fromIucaa Pune,Dr. Padma .D, COE, MU,shall be invited to deliver thelectures to the students and they will also share their practicalexperiences which will benefit the students community of our college.Thetalks from eminent personality shall also bring the vibrations among thestudents community which will help them to decide their goals and toachieve success in all their endeavors. Next will come documentary filmshow, Science quiz competition, Visit to industrial &research centre ,alsovisit to vangani ,khogal mandal, for night sky watching show. Then comes3 main intercollegiate activities under SA. Avishkar, Srujan & Aavesh. Allthese activities will be in collaboration with Nehru sc. Center. Mumbai.

 Avishkar will be in 3 rounds. Elimination, semifinal and final. Eliminationand final rounds will be at NSC. Semi final round will be at CHM campus.Intra-collegiate Sc. exhibition is the regular activity under SA of thiscollege. The exhibition is conducted along with annual Chandi Utsavcelebrations . This exhibition helps students to get the practical trainingand explore their ideas in the field of Sc. & Tech. This also helps to thestudents from other streams of education to know about different projectswhich are displayed by the students. Lastly SA will be concluded withvaledictory function some where in month of Jan-14. Madam with ur fullsupport & co-operation I will try to achieve same goal as all otherchairpersons had already achieved it during their tenure, Thank u.
