Rules for Tilawat• Participants can recite any of the selected portions from the syllabus.
• A recitation from outside the syllabus will get a total mark of zero.
• Marks will be deducted if the Tifl forgets to recite Ta’awwuz or Tasmiyya.

Strongman competition
Strongman competition rules• The aim of this competition is to complete a set number of workout routines in the fastest possible time
• Atfal will be given a choice of workout routine and choose a number of routines to complete depending
on their age group
• Age group 7-9 to do four workout routines, 7 reps of each routine and repeat it once; Age group
group10 -12 to do four workout routines, 8 reps and repeat it twice; Age group 13 13-15 to do five
workout routines, 10 reps and repeat it twice
• The following exercise routines are allowed: push push-up, squat, leg raises (on the floor), bench dip
(on the sofa or chair), jumping jack, forward lunges, burpees, sit up, crunches and mountain climbers
• Judges will need to look at the form for each exercise e.g., whether they are going all the way down
properly for a push up or whilst squatting are is their bottom going down at least below their knees. If
they do break rules, additional seconds need to be added as penalty – 3 seconds for each time they break
the rules.
Plank competition
Plank competition rules• It is simple. Who can plank the longest?
• Atfal need to follow the basic rule of having their back straight and their bottom slightly
down as well
• If the form of the plank is broken, then the participant will be given a warning. If he
breaks the form again, then 5 seconds will be taken off his total time. If for a third time the
Atfal breaks form, then he is to be stopped and whatever time he gets is his time plus
deducting 15 seconds of their total time.
