Tales from an Urban Adventurer The Day the Moon Followed Me Home Oluwatoyin Vincent Adepoju Compcros Comparative Cognitive Processes and Systems “Exploring Every Corner of the Cosmos in Search of Knowledge” I made a friend whose stories of her life are so fantastic, I have decided, with her permission, to tell them to the world, writing in the first person. I was driving home when I noticed the moon was following me. In spaces in which one's line of sight to the sky is clear on a moonlit night, one sees the moon. This case was different, however. The moon was actually following me, as an individual, I, Jennifer Stone, driving my car on the streets of Cambridge, England. I drove creatively, using roads in which houses blocked out the sky, hiding my self from the lunar follower. It was no use. I stopped outside my house to see the luminous sphere had descended to the top of the building. I could not sleep in the house that night. My child was in that home but I was convinced something was after me in that environment. I drove off, parked my car where I felt safe and slept in the car that night. Aliens were likely to descend into my house that night in search of me and they must not find me. Also posted on Facebook Cognitive Diary blog
