Initiated in 1997 when the TaiwanICDF sent 5 volunteers to Swaziland, the Taiwan Overseas Volunteer program is now in its 10th year. By the June 2006, 222 volunteers will have participated in the program (including short-term volunteers), providing service in 28 friendly and allied nations.
