VISION VISION VISION
Keeping Children Safe…Strengthening Families…
Promoting Independence
PHILOSOPHY
Tabor Children’s Services is a private nonprofit child welfare
agency serving children, youth, young adults and families.
Services for families are the least restrictive possible and link
families with resources for support within their own
community and culture. Extended family members with safe
homes are the best resource for children who cannot remain
with their own parents. Preparation for youth independence
begins at the onset of service delivery and includes planning
the steps that will lead to emancipation from the child
welfare system. Permanency and Independence are key
objectives for all service consumers.
