InstallationThe machine must be installed near to a mains socket, check that the electrical supply corresponds to the data on the label and that it is supplied with an adequate ground. Pay attention at the supply cable, it must not be a hindrance during the work.

DIRECTION CONTROLSwitch the motor on briefly and make sure that the blade turns in a clockwise direction. If the rotation is opposite, invert the plug polarity.

The bone saw can be supplied with three different versions of supports.

• Support feet: The bone saw must be mounted horizontally on a stable and rigid work-table adequate to support its weight. Choose the bone saw working position and make two holes of Ø 12 mm on the work-table at a distance of 245 mm. Use 2 M10 studs long enough to ensure a fixing of at least 15 mm on the machine, with 2 large washers and 2 nuts.

• Stand: Lay down the machine, fix the two legs and the drilled plate and the bone saw using the supplied

Installationfour screws and four washers. Assemble the stand to the bone saw, in two persons, lift the machine and adjust the feet so that is steady.

• Support base: The bone saw must be mounted horizontally on a stable, robust and antiskid base suitable to support its weight.

FIXED AND SLIDING SEMI-PLATE ASSEMBLY

1. Removed the ty-rep that blocks the product pusher at the saw blade (Figure 1).2. Place the plate and insert the two 2 dowels (Figure 2).3. Insert the central blade guide in its seat (Figure 3).4. Place the plate on the fork with lifted handle of the clamping system. Release the handle and turn it in a

counterclockwise direction to the stroke end. Position the pusher on the protection bridge (Figure 4).

SAW BLADE ASSEMBLY

1. Wear protective gloves.2. Open the blade guard. Turn the blade tensioning device lever so that the top wheel is raised (Figure 5).3. Rotate the adjustable saw guard (Figure 6).4. Check that the saw teeth of the blade in the cut zone are positioning down and towards the operator.

Position the blade on the two wheels and that it is guided by the top and bottom blade guides (Figure 7).5. Tension the blade by turning the tensioning lever. An internal device automatically adjust the correct tension

on the blade (Figure 8).6. Rotate manually rotate the bottom wheel in order to position the saw blade correctly (Figure 9).7. Make sure that the teeth protrude from the positioning bottom wheel for their whole depth (Figure 10).8. Otherwise, adjust the saw blade on the bottom wheel, rotating the handle in a clockwise or in a

counterclockwise direction. When it is correctly positioned, tighten the locknut. Close the protection door. (Figure 11)

PARTS REMOVAL

1. Wear protective gloves.2. Open the blade protection door. Remove the central blade guide and the fixed and sliding semi-plate.3. Follow the reverse procedure as described for assembly. Rotate the adjustable saw guard and remove the

blade following the reverse procedure as described for assembly (Figure 12).4. Lift up and take off the bottom wheel (Figure 13).

IMPORTANT: The top wheel, which can be easily taken off to the motor shaft. Avoid scraping inside the wheel hole, otherwise, the efficient working of the bandsaw may be undermined.

5. Remove the spring and with two hands, pull off the drive pulley (Figure 14).6. If the top wheel don’t pull off easily, use the extractor supplied (Figure 15).7. Remove the bottom and top blade guide group (Figure 16).

Operation

MaintenanceThe bone saw must be frequently cleaned, any product residue will putrefy and will cause pollution and infection of products that will be subsequently work.

LUBRICATIONAfter each washing, grease the rollers with some drops of oil type SHELL ONDINA 15 or ESSO MARCOL 82 or similar oil marking sure that they rotate while they are being lubricated.

BANDSAW MACHINE OPERATION (UNLOCKED SEMI-FEED CARRIAGE)

WARNING: Check that the machine is disconnected.

1. Pull and rotate the clamping device so that the sliding plate can slide.2. Adjust the slice thickness plate to the thickness of cut required and lock it with the handle (Figure 17).3. The depth of cut can be adjusted. Rotate horizontally the clamping handle, position the blade guide and

lock it by rotating the handle to the stroke end (Figure 18).4. Lift the pusher (Figure 19).5. Place carefully the goods on the feed carriage towards the protection bridge and the pusher (Figure 20).6. Turn on the bandsaw machine by rotating the switch in a clockwise direction (Figure 21).7. With a light pressure on the goods towards the slice thickness control, push the sliding plate towards the

blade (Figure 22).8. To stop the machine turn the switch in a counterclockwise direction to 0-OFF (Figure 23).

BANDSAW MACHINE OPERATION (LOCKED SEMI-FEED CARRIAGE)

WARNING: Check that the machine is disconnected.

1. Pull and rotate the clamping device to lock the sliding semi-plate (Figure 24).2. Remove the pusher from the protection bridge (Figure 25).3. Rotate the bridge under the sliding semi-plate. In this position, the sliding semi-plate is locked (Figure 26).4. Adjust the thickness plate to the thickness of cut required and lock it by the handle (Figure 27).5. The depth of cut can be adjusted. Rotate horizontally the clamping handle and position the blade guide and

lock by turning the handle to the stroke end (Figure 28).6. Turn on the bandsaw machine by rotating the switch in a clockwise direction.

WARNING: Lift the pusher with your right hand away from the blade. Put the product to be cut on the slide thickness plate and with the pusher in your left hand push the product holder towards the blade until the cut is complete (Figure 29).

7. To stop the machine, turn the switch in a counterclockwise direction to 0-OFF.

IMPORTANT: In case of power failure during the functioning, the machine will stop. When the power returns, turn the switch to 0-OFF and then to 1-ON to restart the machine.
