3.5.3 Trolley loader

The Trolley Loader is used for automatic loading of farm- or setter trolleys as an inline operation with the PSPC egg packer. The unit reduces labour and the risk of repetitive strain injury. Different types of loaders are available to suit a vast variety of setter trays such as the Chick Master 132 & 165, HatchTech 150 & 88, Petersime, Pas Reform, HatchTech 150 and Jamesway 36, 42 & 168. 4. Hatchery equipment Prinzen offers solid and reliable equipment to place eggs arriving in the hatchery onto setter trays. The Setter Line offers hatcheries solutions combining gentle egg handling with 99,7% points down setting and thereby maximizing hatchability. 4.3 Trolley loading + unloading The Trolley Loader is used for automatic loading or unloading of farm- or setter trolleys as an inline operation with the egg packer. The unit reduces labor and the risk of repetitive strain injury. 5. Industry The De-Palletizer quickly unloads and places, with utmost precision, stacks of trays with eggs on loader units. This can be done on loader units of almost all egg grading, packing or processing machines in the market. The empty dividers and pallets are stacked automatically for further processing. The Pallet Loader enables you to increase the effective capacity of the machines used in the egg grading, packing or processing rooms. It offers a labour friendly and effective way of unloading trays of eggs from pallets, handling pallets with 5 (10,800 eggs) or with 6 layers of stacks (12,960 eggs). 7. Ovologic The Ovologic system consists of trays, pallets and dividers, and takes egg handling to a new level. The newly designed range of trays and pallets ensures fast, safe and efficient handling and transportation of eggs from farm to the grading/ packing station or processing industry. Ovologic uses plastic 30-cell trays in combination with custom designed dividers and pallets. The packaging materials allows for thorough cleaning and disinfection after each usage. This greatly reduces the risk of contamination in comparison to traditional paper and low quality plastic packaging materials. Furthermore, the improved design and strength of the system results in less hairline cracks.

Stacker options Making most of the often limited space in the packing area, the Easystack sits at the end of the output conveyor of the PSPC 30 packer and helps to maximise the capacity of the packer, especially when used with only one operator. The PS4 stackers handles 30-cell trays with a capacity up to 40,000 eggs per hour and is most suitable in combination with packer types Smartpack and Speedpack. Vencobelt

Eggs are gently transported from different nest rows or houses to a central on-farm location with the Vencobelt. It is available in 40 cm width and meets capacities up to 24,000 eggs per hour. The smart design of the carriers and smooth connections of the belt allow a slope up to 28°and small radius corners up to 180°. Furthermore only one drive chain is integrated making the belt flexible in its application, such as allowing a 90°curve on just a single square meter.

9. Transport and Setter trolleys The Trolley Loader can handle transport (farm-) trolleys and setter trolleys. There are many different trolley types used in the breeder world. To make sure that we are building the right Trolley Loader unit, we always need to know all details such as dimensions, number of tiers and columns. In most cases it is required to have a model of the specific trolley type available for testing in the Prinzen factory.
