1. General Coversion 1.1 General Conversion

Drag your finger on categories picker to select the category you want to open and press the center orb to star conversion.

There are two half pickers in Conversion Section. The left one is source unit and the other is destination(target) unit. Drag your finger to select the source and destination unit as well as what you do with the categories picker. iPhone/iPod: The source value and conversion result will be displayed on the Top-Display of the screen.

iPad: The source value will be displayed on the left side of the picker, the conversion result will be displayed on the right side of the picker.

1.2 Mixed-Unit Conversion

Mixed-Unit is a unit with combination of at least two units. Converter Infinity supports up to two units in general mixed-unit and up to three units in New Unit Mode (Please read 3.3 Create New Mixed Unit). To make the mixed-unit conversion become more effective, select the first

unit and press (iPhone) or (iPad) to switch to mixed-unit mode, then select the second unit.

1.3 Input/Copy/Paste and Fraction Mode Press or tap the source value to open input keyboard. The input keyboard is well designed for the math or number input, it’s not only a numeric keyboard but also a standard scientific calculator. Copy Result: Tap the result and select “Copy Result” to copy the conversion result. You can also press to copy (iPad Only).

Paste Value: Press and to paste the value to source value. Fraction Mode: Tap the result and select “Fraction Mode” to convert the source and target value to fraction. You can also press to turn on Fraction Mode (iPad Only).

1.4 Favorite Section(Category) You can store your favorite conversion to make the further conversion faster, select your conversion and press or Favorite Section of a Category: Just store the favorite conversion of this category, press or to enter. Global Favorite Section: Store all favorite conversion from all catgories, select the Favorite Category or press in categories section to enter.

1.5 Comparison Table (List View)

Comparison Table (Aka List view) brings you all results from all units other than source unit. It is a good way to compare the rate from a unit to others. Tap the result and select “Comparison Table” to open Comparison Table, you can also press (iPad Only).

2. Currency Conversion 2.1 Currency Rate & Data Source

There are 75 currencies in Currency Category (August 1st, 2012 - Please read Appendix A – Available Currencies List ). If you want more currency in following update verison, please email to us by pressing Menu Support Request Feature. All requests are welcome. The default currency rate is updated six days before the version availability. The data (Currency Rate) is sourced from Yahoo! Finance. URL: http://finance.yahoo.com/currency-converter

2.2 Update Currency Rate

The Currency Rate is automatically hourly updated when “Currency Auto Update” option in Setting is turned ON otherwise you have to update the currency rate manually to keep the conversion correct.

You can update Currency Rate whenever you want by LONG PRESSING the center orb. Follow the Yahoo! Finance Term, you can update the currency rate up to about 7000 times a day. Warning: The Currency Rate is for reference only, it’s also defend on your local bank and merchant, we recommend that you should check the local currency rate and/on contract before making your transaction.

3. Price Conversion Price Unit is a combination of one general measure unit (Length, Volume, Mass, Time, etc…) with one currencies unit to make a fractional form. For Example: USD / Gallon, EUR / Lit,… are used to convert gas and fuel price.

USD / Km, USD / Mile,… are very popular to convert Traffic fees. And more…

To open Price Category, Select Price Tag symbol and Press the center Orb. There are two flags in conversion section, one on the left is source currency and one on the right in destination currency, Press the flag to change them. In Price Category, Users are allowed to change the quantity of denominator in price unit. For Example: USD / Item USD / 5 Items or EUR / Lit EUR / 2.5 Lit. Pressing The Blue Up Arrow (To Popup the numerical keyboard) to change the quantity of each component unit as The Mixed-Unit.

4. Luminous Conversion Tool

Luminous Conversion Tool is a small tool to convert among Luminous Flux (In Lumens), Luminous Intensity (In Candela) and Apex Angle (In Degree, Radian or Gradian). By entering two of them, then the last one will be calculated automatically.

5. User Units & Categories 5.1 Create New Basic Unit

Basic Unit is the unit of form A.X where A is Constant and X is a base unit. Ex: ¾m where A is ¾, X is metre(meter). Follow three steps below to create a new basic unit:

Step1: Enter to your category which you want you create new unit then Press Menu New Unit New Basic Unit. Step2: Enter the name of the new unit (Required), the name of new unit must not be exist in its categories then enter the description of new unit (Optional), you may leave it blank. Step3: Enter the unit rate and select the base unit. Finally Press to create new unit and check the result alert. In the final step, There are may error or warning and also an instruction to fix that.

5.2 Create New Equational Unit

Equational Unit is the unit of form F(X) where is X is base unit and/or F(X) is a function of base unit X. Ex: °F = (°C × 9÷5 + 32) (Where X is °C and F(X) = X × 9÷5 + 32).

Follow three steps below to create a new equational unit:

Step1: Enter to your category which you want you create new unit then Press Menu New Unit New Equational Unit. Step2: Enter the name of the new unit (Required), the name of new unit must not be exist in its categories then enter the description of new unit (Optional), you may leave it blank. Step 3: Enter the unit equation(Formula). The formula must: Containt one (only one) base unit. Must NOT contain any user basic unit or equational unit. Must NOT contain any syntax error. Warning: The conversion may contain error or not accurate when there is complicated scientific function such as sin, cos, tan, log, ^,… in the unit formula.

5.3 Create New Mixed-Unit Mixed-Unit is a unit with the combination of two or three base units. Ex: ft +in, km +m , USD + EUR, hour:min:sec, etc… Follow three steps below to create a new mixed-unit:

Step1: Enter to your category which you want you create new unit then Press Menu New Unit New Mixed-Unit. Step2: Enter the name of new unit (Optional), the name of the new unit must not be exist in its categories then enter the description of new unit (Optional). Converter will automatically generate the unit name & its description automatically when they are blank. Step 3: Select at least two base units to make the mixed-unit.

5.4 Turn On/Off Units & Categories In Categories Section: Press Menu Categories Press the blue light to turn the category On/Off or select to turn On/Off unit in this category.

In Conversion Section: Press Menu Switch Unit then press the unit that you want to turn On/Off.
