Garuda Indonesia Training Center (GITC) was Established in 1984.It Used to be known as Biro Pusat Pendidikan dan Pelatihan. GITCprovides various kind of training programs to support AirlineIndustry. Known internally in GA organization as Learning andDevelopment Unit, GITC has priority to develop and executetraining activities either for air crew or ground staff.

By adapting the Corporate University concept, GITC ensures thatall of its training programs are highly oriented to meet the airlineindustry requirement. Each of the training program is designed todevelop people competence in the scope of hard & soft skill,business mindset and leadership skill as well.

Global aviation industry changes rapidly. Pilot as one of main resources within theindustry needs to be developed to also contribute his or her role to win the globaldynamic competition. Our Pilot Training Program is developed not only to meet theregulation but also personal skills to address the situation needed. All of our trainingprograms are approved by Directorate General of Civil Aviation. Training curriculum arealso complied with all conditions and provisions under CASR 142, 61 and 63. Ensuring itto be aligned with every applicable regulation and best-practice processes, is our mainpriority.

There are various kind of training programs that we can offer, among other things areab-initio and recurrent training for pilot type rating, differences and transition training ofaircraft types B737-800NG, B737-300/400/500, CRJ1000, A330, A320, and ATR72-600.

Flight Operation Officer Training

Conducting high quality of Flight Operation Officer Training Programs which is highlycomplied with the government regulation is one of GITC mission.
