Since establishment in December 2011, T3 Drilling has acquired a fleet of Boart Longyear LF90D core drill rigs, Schramm T685 RC drill rigs and Smith Capital 310 RC grade control drill rigs supported by a comprehensive fleet of all-terrain vehicles enabling access to Africa's most remote and challenging sites. Management’s strict adoption of equipment standardisation within drilling specialisations, coupled with skilled drill crews, maintenance teams and support personnel, has enabled T3 Drilling to develop a reputation for delivering consistently high productivity, reliable service and accurate geological sampling. Our capabilities include: Surface core drilling | Reverse circulation drilling for exploration and grade control | Rotary air blast drilling | Large diameter water/dewatering wells, vertical and angled, with simultaneous casing advance system (symetrics) for difficult formations | Soil investigation drilling with standard penetrometer and shelby sampling | All drilling can be backed up with multishot surveying of holes for azimuth and inclination measurements, as well as the use of a downhole camera for water/dewatering wells. T3 Drilling has registered operations in Mauritius, Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) where drilling services have been provided to several respected global mining houses including First Quantum Mining, Freeport McMoran, Eurasian Natural Resources Corporation (ENRC), Glencore and the Minerals and Metals Group (MMG). T3 Drilling is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Teichmann Group, based in Mauritius, with its well established footprint throughout Africa and a proven track record in Mining, Civil Construction, Roads and Earthworks, Plant Hire and Agriculture. The close association with Teichmann Mining, in particular, affords T3 Drilling additional technical and logistical support on the ground as well as administratively through its well-established, shared local and international infrastructure. This enables rapid start-ups in new territories to facilitate T3 Drilling's expansion throughout Africa. Managed by a team of motivated and experienced professionals, the company is well positioned and focused on diversifying services within the drilling field and expanding the company's capacity and geographical reach in a sustainable manner to achieve the goal of becoming a leading supplier of drilling services on the African continent.

Health, Safety and the Environment (HSE) is T3 Drilling’s way of life and highest priority. The company values its safe working history and is dedicated to the health and safety of its employees and the communities and environment in which it operates.
Apart from complying with the legal requirements of the various countries in which it operates, the company applies the ILO Codes of Practice and is certified to the OHSAS 18001 code of practice. T3 Drilling continually strives to improve its safety procedures; safety is on the agenda at all operational meetings and management reviews are regularly conducted to measure compliance and the effectiveness of the company's safety systems. Annual external audits are conducted by an independent third party HSE consultant.
Training programmes, in conjunction with equipment suppliers, are conducted on a regular basis for all drilling personnel to ensure the latest safe drilling procedures and techniques are implemented and regular risk assessments are conducted on all drilling activities.
Environmentally and socially responsible
T3 Drilling is committed to the preservation of the environment and adheres to a strict environment management system that reviews the company's environmental objectives and targets on a regular basis to ensure that all operations have minimal impact on the environment.
All equipment, camps and drill sites are laid out and maintained in such a way as to minimise any impact on the surrounding habitat. On site activities are subject to continuous improvement to reduce pollution or negative impact on the environment.
The company takes its corporate social responsibility seriously and invests in the communities surrounding our operations by social uplifting through employment, training, local enterprise support and where possible, improvements to local infrastructure.
