Introduce a new innovative TEAM event for the sport of Triathlon in 2011 / 2012 by creating sustainable stories around Professional Athletes, Teams, Partners, Sponsors and Event destinations using the positive image produced and distributed via TV and Media for „one strong message“.

Making an individual Sport to a TEAM sportDistances: 1000m Swim - 100km Bike - 10km RunFirst Triathlon event featuring Teams to compete Professionals and Amateurs (open to anyone, no classification); it also can be a mixed Team out of Professionals and AmateursInfrastructure provided, which we know from the ProCycling Tour (TEAM support cars, Mechanics, Directors etc)Race will take part on complete closed roadsDrafting allowed BUT only among it´s own TEAM (no drafting off other TEAMS)4 Athletes of a TEAM need to finish to be ranked The Time of the 3rd Athlete of each TEAM will be the official Final Time for each TEAM

The Team Package. You enter the race with a team of 5 athletes.

Each member of the team receives a cycling kit and running shirt, branded with your team name and logos

Assistance cars will support the teams during the race. 1 car for 5 teams.

Mechanics will check your bikes the day before the race and will offer you bike service throughout the race. 1 mechanic for 5 teams.

Through radio communication you will be able to communicate during the race- with your teammates and your support car.

You will get your pre- race coaching and advise from experienced experts from triathlon and cycling- upfront and during the event

Your team and all members are presented on the TriStar T111 Madrid website and at the official team presentation event the day before the race

Moreover each member of the team receives the extras you already know from other TriStar races (athlete‘s present, swim caps etc.)

Professional Triathletes participating in a TEAM are center figures in this new approach, they will become spoke personalities and well known „heros“ with high marketing values and recognition potential. We will select very well our key players and cast age group athletes into those TEAMS in order to guarantee the visibility and potential to create a great „story“ around the series and athletes.This will result in a kind of „Cult“ status the athletes and the events will eventually draft into.

Finally our objective is to build our own Team and have our branded Team racing attached to a the LIVESTRONG charity in all the events. This will accelerate the activation and recognition multiply times as well raise awareness on the Foundation on top of the visibility on the Events.
