Snacksand beverages will be included, so please notify us of any allergies at registration. Ages 8-18. Cost: $3   

MONARCHS ON THE MOVE, 6/13, 1-2 pm Learn about the Monarch butterfly, its life cycle andchallenges. Participants will do a fun, interactiveactivity and each will receive a milkweed plant kit.Designed for ages 8-10. Cost: FREE, thanks to an AgInnovator grant.   

ICE CREAM, YOU SCREAM, 6/13, 2:30-3:30 pm Make homemade ice cream using just a fewingredients and a plastic bag. Food will be included,so please notify us of any allergies at registration.Ages 8-18. Cost: $5

FIRST AID & CPR, 6/27, 10am-noon Learn basic first aid and CPR from an AmericanHeart Assoc. instructor. Youth will practice on life-size training dummies, and will assemble a travelfirst aid kit. Ages 10-18. Cost: $5   

PAINT POUR, 7/18, 10:30-11:30am Combine paint, rubbing alcohol and otherelements to create a unique abstract painting.Each participant will take home their creation.Materials included. Ages 10-18. Cost: $7   

FANCY FLORICULTURE, 7/11, 1-2 pm Get the basics of design and floral arranging in thisworkshop led by a professional florist. Learn whatto look for when choosing flowers, how to cutflowers and how to incorporate greenery. Youthwill create and take home a small arrangement.Ages 8-18. Cost: $10   

MINIATURE GARDENING, 7/11, 2:30-3:30 pm Learn about the art of miniature gardens - whetherfor fairies or dinosaurs. Youth will plant and designsmall dish gardens, and can incorporate a theme.Feel free to bring along any accessories. Ages 8-18.Cost: $10

POETRY POWER - 6/12, 1:30-3:30pm Create your own poetry! Youth will write a collectionof three poems in different styles, both free verseand rhyming, and illustrate them. PUPPETRY THEATRE - 6/14, 1:30-3:30pm Participants will create a backstory fortheir puppet creation, make a sock puppetand learn how to animate it. Participantsalso can share their creative ideas with apuppet show to entertain all. Suppliesprovided. Youth can bring a favorite sockto decorate if desired. Ages 8-18. Cost: $2

MODELING & MOVEMENT* - 7/17, 9-11am Perfect workshop for 4-H Fashion Revueparticipants! Learn how to walk fluidly,pose comfortably and turn easily in this60-minute workshop. Bring the shoes youplan to wear for the runway event. NOTE:this workshop will be held at the YorkvilleCongregational Church at 409 CenterPkwy, Yorkville. Ages 8-18. Cost: $3

WET & WILD WOOL FELTING, 6/14, 11am-1pm Learn to create a small “needle felted” baby animalfigure with wool! You also can make a fun “wetfelting” covered soap. Esther's Place in Big Rock islending us equipment to have this fun workshop timewith wool. All materials provided. Ages 8-18 Cost: $8
