Every day, contractors, municipalities and utilities excavate for installation of underground facilities, or must locate existing pipes, cables and lines for maintenance and repairs. In the past, this usually involved digging by hand (often a slow and tedious process) or with a mechanical excavator, backhoe or similar machine. Every year, there are numerous reports of injuries, deaths, explosions and fires from unsafe or poorly planned excavations that strike underground facilities or result from collapsed trenches. Many of these incidents can be avoided and the risks minimized by utilizing techniques such as vacuum excavation.
Vacuum excavation is non-destructive excavation method that uses either pressurized air or water to cut, brake down, and vacuum up soil into a recovery system, the Vac Truck.
With vacuum excavation areas can easily be reached that ordinarily make mechanical excavation difficult if not impossible.
HSE Compliance▪ Comprehensive HSE program in place and active to ensure safety priority
▪ HSE program is registered and compliant with ISNetworld
▪ Daily safety meetings are held to discuss potential hazards with the day’s operation
▪ PPE will be worn in all areas where required
▪ JSA’s will be conducted for complicated lifting, hydrotesting, and load out.
▪ Work at port facilities will be supported by an HSE representative to ensure compliance with T-Rex & port requirements
▪ Sub Contractors & Visitors will receive T-Rex Site specific safety orientation:
▪ Provided by HSE Manger to ensure T-Rex Safety protocols are understood
▪ Provides awareness to the hazards associated with our operation
▪ Badges will be created for visitors and subcontractors
▪ Will be required to attend JSA’s and Safety meetings when applicable
▪ Training is valid for one (1) year
Trucks must be true hydro excavation trucks …not line cleaning trucks.
Fleet of 15 trucks, both air and hydro capabilities 4 offices : Houston, Dallas, West Texas, Shreveport
La. Remote capabilities in excess of 400’ No overtime rate for nights/weekend/holidays. Provide small civil services: such as concrete
breaking, saw cutting, sidewalk repair. Backfill services. Ability to justify all billing with GPS event back up
reports. Provide emergency capacity 24/7/365.
