Support the Production of our Bulletin For quite some time we have been producing our own bulletin al-lowing us to meet the needs of the three languages. If we were to send this bulletin out to be produced, we would have to have one bulletin in English only for everyone and the publications of the Readings in Italian and Spanish would have to come to an end. Help us by Supporting our advertisers and also by placing an ad in our bulletin for a year. Please call the office for more information.

For the intentions of: His Holiness Pope Francis
MASS INTENTIONS Do whatever He tells you Today’s Gospel speaks of a wedding that takes place in Cana of Galilee where Jesus performed His first miracle in answer to His mother’s request. “There is no wine” . Mary is the one acknowledged they had run out of wine. Mary full of compassion saw the problem and went to see the One who can solve; Jesus. “Do whatever he tells you”. That invitation that Mary told the servants is the same invitation for all of us, to do whatever Jesus says.
Father Efren's Contact Info During his Sabbatical

With regards to which parish he will be appointed in July of 2016, we will re-ceive information when a letter of appointment is sent to him by Cardinal Collins. Parishes are usually invited to a pastor's installation so we will know as soon as the information is availa-ble. If you have pictures you’ve taken this past few weeks with Fr. Efren or at farewell gatherings, he will appreciate you sharing them with him. Please email them to the above address.

The Family of Faith campaign has generat-ed excitement here at St. Jude’s Parish. As the campaign moves into its final weeks here, please carefully consider the commit-ment you can make to this historic cam-paign, if you haven’t already made one. A pledge, redeemed over a five year period, will enable our parish to do so much! With the parish share, we plan to: Invest in youth ministry program & revitalize our social justice ministry to care for the needs of our community Install AC units in our church Remove the old carpeting in the
church ad refinish the flooring Relocate our sacristy to a better location By now you should have received a special letter from me and Fr. Efren regarding the cam-paign. The mailing included a request let-ter, parish brochure, pledge form and re-turn envelope. I am asking you to consider making a sacrificial pledge over five years to support our parish and the Archdiocese of Toronto. You set the terms on what your pledge will be, and how you would like to pay it. Reminder notices can be sent di-rectly to you. Pledges are non-binding…if your circumstances change in the future, you can adjust your pledge. Please consid-er making a sacrificial commitment and return your pledge form to the parish office or drop off in the offertory as soon as pos-sible. Thank you for your prayers and sup-port of this historic effort! Stay in touch with the campaign at www.ourFamilyofFaith.ca and follow on Twitter: @family_of_faith

Planning to become a teacher in
the Catholic Schools?
It is critical for you to know that to be hired to teach in any Catholic School
Board in Ontario as part of your applica-tion for employment there must be a let-ter of reference from your pastor. If you are planning to apply to teach in a Catho-lic School, contacting the pastor before Thanksgiving is highly recommended. Please plan to have a conversation with your pastor early in the process (not the week before you are submitting your application) and you will avoid disap-pointment and stress at the time when applications are to be submitted. The following are required by all those re-questing a pastoral reference: You are a registered member of the parish
using offertory envelopes for at least a
year prior to the request.
You participate at Sunday/Saturday mass
in our parish for a minimum of one year
prior to the request.
You are involved in some way at our par-
ish.
Make your request 3 months prior to the
submission of your application.
You are the one making the request per-
sonally. No request will be accepted by
any third party, which includes a relative
or a parent.
The pastor has to be able to recommend you and that can only happen if he knows you at the basic level of regular mass attendance. Personal knowledge of the candidate’s faith practice is what the pastor needs to recom-mend
Questions for Reflection:
Does love between human beings help you understand how much God loves us?
Should everyone have the same talents?
Are you using whatever talents God gave you?
