26 MB Building Kit SystemThe MB Building Kit System is taking it up a gear. Automatic Angle Bracket Sets and Automatic Flat Bracket Sets offer the fastest ever means of connecting two profiles. Insert, tighten, and that’s it! The fasteners are fully preassembled. All the screws automatically slot into the correct position in a Line 8 groove and simply need to be tightened, as there is no need for separate T-Slot Nuts or threads. The entire system requires no profile machining and can be reused and repositioned at any time. It doesn’t get any faster, or any more convenient.The new Protective Profiles made from impact-absorbing PE foam are another very practical solution. This flexible impact protection covers over profile edges and sides, preventing both damage and injuries.The new Friction Joints help boost the ergonomic credentials of factory equipment. They represent the building blocks for customised swivelling structures. The new joints are designed to carry heavy loads. Their dual screw connections mean structures can have twice the support width and carry heavy weights with ease.

Compound Slide Overhang

Everything good comes from on high. The Compound Slide Overhang makes work easier with a smooth-running hanger that allows operators to position tools and feed lines anywhere over the table top and then park them close by when not in use.

The Compound Slide Overhang is mounted on an Upright fitted to an item work bench E or F. As a result, the height of the Overhang from the working surface can be adjusted to suit requirements. The groove running along the top of the Compound Slide Overhang can be used for installing accessories such as item Light Fitting 36W for lighting up the work area.

Three different variants are available for a variety of purposes. The classic Container shape is ideal for pens and small objects. The inside of Tool Holder D70 Screwdriver is shaped like a funnel, making it easy for users to insert and remove screwdrivers and keys without a second thought. Tool Holder D70 Pliers has two integrated angle-adjustable surfaces that keep your pliers at the perfect angle. As a result, the tool automatically slides into the ideal position for removal, even if it is not put back in the holder carefully.

The Holder Console keeps tools and small parts within easy reach. This stable system can hold three Holders D70 at the same time. The incremental angle adjustment offers 10 different settings to make sure the Holders are in sync with the current working position (sitting or standing) and the ergonomic needs of the user. Regardless of the setting, the Holders are always held securely.

That’s me out of the way.

The compressed-air conduit – neat and tidy as standard. The Spiral Hose looks neat and stops you stepping on your hose at the work bench. When retracted, this space-saving compressed-air conduit measures just 170 mm in length, but can be easily pulled out to the ideal length.

The Spiral Hose is perfect for use with item Tool Balancers. It is attached directly to a Tool Balancer and can easily be retrofitted to existing systems. The support cable and pneumatic hose do not get in each others way. The return height of the tool can be adjusted as required. Depending on the tool and task at hand, Tool Balancers with load-carrying capacities of up to 1 kg (0.0.631.84), up to 2 kg (0.0.636.48) and up to 3 kg (0.0.649.96) are available. When used together, a Spiral Hose, Tool Balancer and Compound Slide Overhang make working with pneumatic tools exceptionally straightforward and convenient. Quick-action couplings at the ends of the hose ensure the system can be connected up in next to no time.

The Container Support is the simplest way of fitting Parts Containers to a preconfigured work bench. The Container Profile has a lip that is compatible with all standard semi-open fronted boxes with mounting lugs. The ergonomic 7° or 15° inclination of the support makes it easy to remove small parts and keep an overview of the material in the containers. The Container Support is fastened to the vertical struts of the Upright either at a fixed right-angle (F) or at a variable angle (A).

Several material levels can be set up at a work bench by installing more than one Container Support.

Automatic flat and angle bracket sets

High speed connection.

The fastest profile connection ever – automatic angle brackets and automatic flat brackets from item.

These innovative fasteners are fully preassembled and ready for use. Simply fit them in place and the screws slot into the correct position. Tighten the screws and that’s it, the profiles are held in place without the need for additional T-Slot Nuts. Automatic Flat Bracket Sets and Automatic Angle Bracket Sets virtually install themselves. No threads need to be tapped and profiles don’t need to be machined. The fasteners can be inserted at any point along a Line 8 groove and can be reused and repositioned whenever required. All you need to do is turn the screws.

Automatic Angle Bracket Sets make connections inside the frame contour and Automatic Flat Bracket Sets produce readily accessible connections on the outside of the frame. Unlike other profile fasteners, automatic flat brackets are installed on the profiles and can therefore be used to reinforce connections, since the large support width is extremely effective at compensating for torque loads.

Profile connections made with automatic flat and angle bracket sets can also compensate for inaccuracies and errors made when cutting profiles to length.

The joints can be used to span double the support width or carry double the load of Friction Joint 40. The dual screw connection provides additional strength.

The brake in the Friction Joint allows precise adjustment, ensuring pivot arms can be easily positioned without being difficult to move.

The preassembled sets are supplied with screws and are ready to connect. Screws can be connected to the end face of a Profile 8 80 via the core bore or to a groove. Press-fit anti-torsion features grip into the profile grooves to ensure play-free connections.

The maximum torque load for an End Swivel Joint 80 is 45 Nm, while Double Swivel Joint 80 can withstand moments of up to 200 Nm.

The item Table Column Sets are the basis for customised, electrically height-adjustable work benches. The stable lifting columns support a range of working positions with a maxi-mum travel distance of 420 mm. The ability to swap easily between sitting and standing work takes a great deal of strain off the back.

Three different working heights can be saved to introduce ergonomics into everyday working life – whether different operators are using the same bench during different shifts, or users want to quickly change between typical working positions. The columns feature a lifting force of 2,000 N (Table Column Set 2 E) or 4,000 N (Table Column Set 4 E). They also exhibit a satisfying travelling speed of 25 mm/s across the entire load range. Fitted as standard for increased safety, a lock can be activated to prevent unintentional movement.

The base plates are pre-tapped with M10 threaded bores designed to accom-modate Adjustable Feet. The Line 8 grooves on the outer Telescope Profile can be used to attach load-bearing and connecting structures.

Note: On-time must not exceed 10%. The columns are designed exclusively for the occasional adjustment of tables and fixtures and are not intended for use in automation processes.

The M10 threaded bores in the base plates can be used to connect any Adjustable Feet.

The M6 threaded bores in the mounting plates can be used in combination with Automatic-Fastening Sets 8 to connect the columns to Profiles 8 160x60 4N E.

Work bench designs must take into account the maximum permissible torque load for the table columns of Mmax. = 140 Nm.

NoteIEC connector on control unit => all region-specific power lines can be used.

Profile 8 160x60 4N E can be used to build customised work bench solutions with the Table Column Sets.
