Hands-On Training: Particle, Pellet & Tablet Coating Improving robustness and process efficiency

Language English

Overview Most of today’s modern solid dosage production is accompanied by coating. There are many reasons for coating your solid dose, such as color for marketing reasons or to increase bioavailability in case of solid dispersion. A clear understanding of the technolo-gy is necessary in order to develop and maintain an accurate and robust coating process.

Learning targets We provide solutions to all types of challenges for your day-to-day coating business. The seminar will provide answers to questions on taste masking, preparation of solid dispersion, coating of pel-lets, tablets and capsules the dissolution of these dosage forms. The participant will perform hands-on coating processes on the Hüttlin equipment.

Hands-On Training: Scale-Up Transferring from R&D to production

Overview There is one thing all solid oral dosage forms have in common, and that is the fact, that the manufacturing process needs to be transferred to production facilities before commercialization. This “Master of Solids” seminar aims to give a valuable insight into this topic.

Learning targets The content of the seminar delivers a deep understanding of the upscaling procedure of solid oral dosage forms. After the seminar participants will have a clear understanding of the most critical processing parameters and will be able to set up an upscaling strategy. This knowledge is of particular importance in the field of QbD approaches.
