Our sympathy is extended to Laurie Aldriedge and her family on the death of her husband, Marshall Aldriedge, who passed away on January 17 following a 10-year battle with cancer. Arrange-ments are pending for a private graveside service for the family. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Our sympathy is extended to Marilyn and Paul Painter and Camille and Johura Turner and their family on the death of Marilyn’s mother and Camille’s grandmother, Rita Holmes, who passed away on January 10. The family held a virtual memorial service. The family also lost her nephew, Trevor Holmes of Canton, TX on Christmas Day.

Tom Traylor is hospitalized after possibly having a heart attack. He is undergoing tests.

Paul Witt, father of Denell Dennis, will be having bladder cancer surgery on Tuesday morning, January 19, in Tyler, TX. He will be in the hospital for multiple days. Cindy Johnson and three of her siblings have tested positive for COVID-19. Cindy has been moved to ICU and is on a ventilator at Richardson Methodist Hospital. Please keep all of them in your prayers.

*Lynn Hooper is in the Roberts Building at Baylor/Dallas with a very serious case of Covid-19. Please keep him and Tracy in your prayers.

*Jimmy Hooten remains at Richardson Methodist where he is receiving heavy doses of antibiotics. He is doing some better. He will have surgery on January 19 on his neck. He has a bulging disc pressing on a nerve that is affecting his right arm and possibly his right leg. Cards may be sent to him at 908 Parkmont Dr., Garland, TX 75041-2945.

Mary King requests prayers for her 25 year-old nephew, Jonathan Vinson, who is hospitalized in Colorado and is on a ventilator.

*Wayne Eastep, father of Molly Newton is hospi-talized with COVID pneumonia. He is very weak and is on an oxygen machine. Molly’s mother, Eleanor, also has COVID.

Our sympathy is extended to Cindy, Larry, and Rusty Richmond and their family on the death of Cindy’s sister and Rusty’s aunt, Terry O’Neal Dean, who passed away on January 14 after a lengthy illness. Terry was a long-time member of the Glenwood Church of Christ in Tyler, TX. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
