Grading: There will be a final exam worth 40%, 2 midterms worth 25% each, and a Homework grade worth 10%. There will be a weekly homework collected at the start of the class every Wednesday. To compute the Homework grade I will drop the two lowest grades on your homework sets. Due to this policy no late homework will be accepted. Test Dates: Midterm1: Wednesday, September 28. In class. Midterm 2: Wednesday, November 9. In class. Final Exam: Wednesday, December 7. Room TBA. Assignments: There will be weekly written assignments, posted on the course web page. These will be collected at the start of the class every Wednesday. We will drop the two lowest grades on your homework sets. No late homework will be accepted. Math Help Room: The Math Help Room is a free drop in tutoring program provided by the Mathematics department. The Math Help Room is located in 213 Krieger Hall and is open Monday - Thursday from 9 am to 9 pm and Fridays from 9 am - 5 pm.
