Reference: Spot Report CN ATIMPSIDC 0505-03. 2. On May 5, 2010, at around 1:00 a.m. elements this station led by SP02 Narciso V Lopez, while conducting mobile patrolling along the vicinity of Brgy. Caridad Ibaba, Atimonan, Quezon spotted one Forward Dropside Truck bearing plate no. XPY-373 parked near the shoreline. The PNP personnel approached the vehicle and conducted ocular inspection. They noticed that it was loaded with several flitches of coco-lumber. 3. They managed to apprehend the driver identified as Rolando Chavez y Gallardo, 38 years old, married, residing at Gen. Luna st., Sariaya, Quezon and its truck helper identified as Doroy Obnasca y Javier, 40 years old married, resident of Brgy. Bucal, Sariaya, Quezon and were brought at the Police Station together with the Forward Dropside truck for investigation and documentation. During investigation, the suspects failed to present any legal documents of the confiscated coco lumber with estimated volume of more or less five thousand board feet (5, 000 bd/ft). The vehicle and its illegally cut coco lumber together with the driver and its truck helper were turned- over to PCA-Provincial Office, in Gumaca, Quezon for proper disposition. 4.
