Photograph Gallery Flame 2019

A coach full of Young People and Leaders left Swindon at 8.15am on the morning of Saturday March 2nd, bound for Wembley Arena and Flame 2019. After a comfortable and straight forward journey, we arrived and made our way to the Arena—dodging the football crowds on our way! The day was a great experience—a mixture of great, lively music and in-spirational speakers. The theme for the conference was Significance, and we were reminded that each one of us is made in the image of God, and that He has a plan for our life—things that only we can do and nobody else. Every one of us in Significant! Here are some of the reflections made by those who were there:

Baby Othanial’s Baptism

Congratulations! We extend our congratulations to two of our Team members, Theola and Sherline, on the birth of their babies. Let’s thank God for these gifts of new life, and pray for God’s continued blessings on these new families.

Born for This Friday April Rehearsals all day, then performing to a full church that evening!

“Given the fact it was my first time for such a big event I thought it'd be all a mess with such a huge crowd but well it was well organised. The music was really good as well specially "Here I am to worship" ; I think the energy at the arena was simply spectacular. But when I say this I know I'm speaking for a big group of people, the speaker Robert Madu touched a lot of people with his words; he used his humour to captivate the audience and so spread the much needed message among the youth i.e do not compare ourselves with others and keep our focus on Jesus. For someone at Flame for the first time, it sure is an experience you'd never forget. “ “Flame 2019 was my first time and I must say that it was more then I expected. Seeing so many youths was really inspiring. Loved the porch area nowhere there were different activi-ties to do. “

Flame is organised by CYMFed—all the talks from the day are available to be listened to on their website—cymfed.org.uk
