4. Chief Officer/Chair ReportsQuality Points published data

Swindon & Wiltshire did v well – just one who FC expected to claim didn’t. NHSmail still problem-solving. All multiples should now be equipped through head office. Newsletter article needed to encourage use of email footers – instructions available.

LPC ElectionsMembership numbers were debated. The membership is currently 12.

Total members CCA reps AIMp reps Independent reps

13 8 2 312 8 2 211 7 2 210 6 1 3

The Committee expressed concern at the loss of so many independents on a 12-member committee. Points made were:

Is it better to increase the membership to keep a balance, as there are nearly double the actual number of independents in the area than AIMp?

Is it the wrong climate to increase numbers – extra cost of £2,500 per year?A vote was taken on the alternative vote system: a membership of 13 was chosen with a majority of 1st preference votes.NJ announced he would be stepping down as Committee Chair in April.

Tender out for Substance Misuse throughout Swindon & Wiltshire. Unlikely to change community pharmacy role, FC will remain alert.
