We have researched how many sweets shops are on the Wirral there are 6 main ones in total .these are not newsagents as you can get sweets from all of them. these are shops that only sell sweets!

WERE WE ARE HOPING TO GO AND DO AN INTERVIEW

We are hoping to go and film at a sweet shop in Morton cross called sweet image it sells all types of sweets including sweets from abroad (American sweets) diabetic sweets and old fashioned sweets . they even sell milkshakes cakes and other sweet refreshments.

This sweet shop has a sitting area as well so we might interview some people who regally go there to buy there sweets etc.

We are also hoping to do some vox pops at a local gymnastics club to see how sports people buy sweets and how often they take them and how much they spend.

Teeth and how Sweets Effect them!

More and more children are being admitted to the hospital for tooth decay and other dental conditions, according to a new study.

British researchers found between 1997 and 2006, there were more than 517,000 "episodes of care" for children with dental conditions. More than half were for tooth decay or cavities. Eighty percent involved extractions, and extractions for cavities rose 66 percent during this period of time.
