Photographing a wedding

is an amazing experience for

a photographer. When a bride

and groom choose you to capture

their special day, there is honestly no

bigger honor. What most couples don’t

see is the photographer in the background

with a tear rolling down her cheek during the

dances or laughing when the groom fumbles

during the vows. It’s a beautiful emotional

day for everyone. Working with Anne-Marie

has put such joy in my heart. We are a

Q). Where do I start?A). You’ve come to the right place. Having lived in the

Memphis and Oxford areas for most of our lives, we know lots of different and wonderful vendors. Everybody has different

styles and ideas and we can help find yours!

Q). How experienced are you?A). Oh, we are experienced. We have been in the photography world since 2002 and have been shooting weddings since 2004. Just when we think we’ve seen it all, we meet our next client. We absolutely love what we do and every little thing that comes with it. We are also members of the Professional Photographers Association and regularly attend workshops and shows.

Q). Do you archive your images?A). YES! When you hire Sweet Water Images you are not only getting wedding photographers, you are paying for the archival of your wedding day images. We back up our back ups, so no matter what- your day is preserved.

Q). What is your style?A). We like to call it “Infusion”. We take classic photography and mix it with today’s modern styles. On your wedding day we will take time before and after the ceremony to do more of the traditional portraits with both families. The rest of the day is used for photojournalism and fun candid shots.

Q). When can I expect my proofs?A). We take pride in hand-touching all of your proofs. We take our time to make sure every memory from your big day is as perfect as possible. You can usually expect a preview of your images to be ready within 4-6 weeks of your wedding date.

Q). Will we know you are there?A). The best part of our job is the amazing and beautiful friendships we gain after all is said and done. We have been known to run to the store to buy Tums, or even teach the Cupid Shuffle to the mother of the bride. We like to have fun with our clients and make things as light as possible, while still accomplishing our mission.

Q). Do you always work as a team?A). Yes! Yes! Yes! That is the great thing about Sweet Water Images, you are not hiring one professional photographer, and an assistant, you get two professional fun-loving photographers for the coverage of your wedding day. Depending on the size of your wedding we may add an additonal photographer.
