IT IS REALLY AFFORDABLEYou can apply your financial aid package to study abroad. In some cases, your aid might increase to support additional ex-penses. SVSU students can compete for SVSU Study Abroad Scholarships. Additional grant money may be available from International Programs as well as the Student Association.

IT WILL HELP YOU GET A JOBStudy Abroad experience helps résumé stand out since busi-nesses & other employers are always looking for potential employees with international experience.

IT COUNTS TOWARDS YOUR DEGREEOur programs abroad are designed so that the credits you earn transfer back to SVSU. Complete General Education Requirements or take courses in you major.

FOREIGN LANGUAGE IS NOT A REQUIREMENTMost of your study abroad programs have English language instruction & require no foreign language ability.Once you find a program you are interested in, the course description will tell you what the language of instruction is.

THERE ARE MANY EXCITING LOCATIONSStudy in Japan, Australia, Poland, France, Mexico, Spain, Greece, England, Italy, Austria, or other countries. You can even do an internship!
