World’s first fully autonomous ferry voyage
The demonstration and trials took place along an existing ferry route between Parainen and Nauvo in the Turku archipelago, Finland.

The Remote Control Station (RCS)
Third generation, state-of-the-art, on-shore Remote Control Station
Built at Finferries’ office, approximately 45km away from the Turku archipelago
Captain located at RCS was able to take remote control of vessel
Interchangeable layers of insight presented on curved ‘video’ wall in front of captain.
User-centric design based on extensive studies and input from wide range of captains
Combination of 4G cellular, Wi-Fi and satellite technologies for high resolution and connectivity
