Suture Material:Braided & Coated Polyglycolic Acid (Absorbable Surgical Suture USP)

Raw Material Description:Polyglycolic Acid is a synthetic polymer composed of homopolymers of Glycolide (100%).

Coating: Calcium Stearate & Polycaprolactone

Material Color & Specifications: Violet (D & C Violet No 2) and Undyed for Rapid sutures.

Features:Minimal tissue reaction and has excellent handling properties. u Coating ensures Smooth tissue passage. u Bencryl sutures retains 80% of the original strength at 2 weeks post implantation andu

90% of the initial strength is lost at 4 weeks. Absorption is complete between 75-90 days. Bencryl-Rapid sutures retain 50% of the original strength after 5 days post implantation & the strength will be lost completely after 10-14 days. Absorption is essentially complete by 42 days.

Sterilization: Ethylene Oxide

Packing & Availability: Dry & Sterile SuturePrimary packing: Each Suture is wound and packed in a leak-proof Aluminum Foil pouch. Each such aluminum pouch is further packed in a peelable overwrap pouch made of Medical Grade Paper and Laminated Polyethylene film. Suture Material:Monofilament Polypropylene (Nonabsorbable Surgical Suture USP)

Raw Material Description:Polypropylene surgical sutures are composed of an isotactic crystallinestereoisomer of Polypropylene, (synthetic linear Polyolefin).

Material Color & Specifications: Cu-Phtalocyanine blue (a US FDA approved dye).

Features: Smooth passage through tissue and gives excellent knot security.u

Due to the lack of adherence to tissues, Polypropylene sutures are used as pull-out sutures.u

Polypropylene sutures retain original tensile strength over time u Does not support bacterial growth.u



Availability : u With needle- Suture lengths 45cms to 100cms & Needle length from 12mm to 45mm.u Includes variety of Stainless Steel needles like Round bodied, Cutting, Reverse cutting, Taper cutting, Trocar Point etc.

Raw Material Description:Polyester surgical sutures are composed of Pre-Stabilised Poly (Ethylene Terephthalate) precision braided around a central core. The braid is then dyed and special processes applied to ensure regularity of diameter, and the best extension for good knotting characteristics.

Coating: Coated with Wax / Silicon / Polybutylate.
