I
Light spills over It embraces singing his steps And caresses from inside
Aufsteigendes Licht Umhüllt singend voranschreitend
Zärtlich im Innersten berührst du uns

II
The sky is vested In its finest dress and hopes
Amidst the deserts
Der Himmel kleidet sich Im feinstem Kleid voller Erwartung
Mitten in den Wüsten

III
Estero Yerba Loca, Villa Paulina, Región Metropolitana, Chile
Aguas dulces Vengan a nuestros corazones Que tanto anhelan su voz
Sweet waters Flow to our hearts
Longing for his voice
Wasserbäche so fein Fliesst in unsere Herzen
Nach eurem Klang sehnen sie sich
10
IV
The fresh greenness
Caresses our weary hearts Like a loving mother
Frisches Grün Liebkost unser müdes Herz Wie eine liebende Mutter
11
V
Time and time again Cold blue waves ebb and flow
As clear absolution
Einmal und immer wieder brechen Wellen kalten Blaus
Wie volle Vergebung
12
VI
As one we came
And as one we shall remain aloft For plural is this life
Zusammen kamen wir her
The gray horizon Also hides an embrace
In its distant heart
Grauer Horizont Verborgen ist eine Umarmung
In seinem fernen Herzen
14
VIII
There is always time For snow to turn into water
And Water into life
Immer ist die Zeit Dass Schnee zu Wasser werde
Und Wasser sich in Leben wandle
15
IX
The ancestors sing
In a faintly recurring memory Which cultivates us
Die Vorfahren singen Zarte Erinnerung wiederholt sich
Und prägt uns
16
X
A walk Is this life we share
And dwell in
Ein Schreiten ist das gemeinsame Leben
uns innewohnend
17
XI
In the distance Is drawn the lovely face Of the highest encounter
The symphony rises As a complete splendid work
To confront us
Die Symphonie ersteht Als wundervolles Gesamtwerk
Und fordert uns heraus.
