Started by Mardiyah Tarantino at the request of Ibu Rahayu, Elderberry seeks to provide incidental funds forvolunteers to travel and encourage elder members to attend latihan or provide other small assistance.SDUSA gave them $550.
GOOD LIFE MOBILITY
Founded by Dainuri Rott, an engineer by training, the organization's mission is to develoop, promote and providehealthy recreation and transportation alternatives for veterans, seniors and others with disabilities by enabling ac-tive and independently mobile life styles. SDUSA gave them $1,200.

CONGO- SCHOOLS AND HEALTH CLINIC
The purpose of this grant is to complement fundings that SD USA has already allocated to classroom con-struction to allow SD Congo to equip 3 SD schools with 180 chairs and tables designed to improve learn-ing conditions for children who are currently seated on tightly packed and uncomfortable benches in over-crowded classrooms. SDUSA gave them $2,000.

Anisha serves children from farming and landless families in Bangalore, India, This project, directedby Valli Krishnaswamy, works to slow the flight to urban slums and provides the ability for childrento obtain an education at the 8th through 12th level of school. Children's education is not funded afterthe 7th level, and the children are usually expected to begin working to help support their families.Anisha has inspired parents to have the opportunity to further their children's education and bringhope for a more rewarding future. SDUSA granted them $4,520.

Operating under the umbrella of Susila Dharma International, volunteers were to travel to Anisha in India to learn and assist in sustainable agricultural projects. SDUSA granted $2,750. The money was not used and will be used next year.
INNER CITY SCHOOLS PROJECT – Los Angeles
Directed by Hamidatun Karapetian, this project provides art and school supplies, books, clothes, blan-kets, pillows, or food, as needed, every month to two schools in downtown Los Angeles. SDUSAgranted $2,000.
SDIA SD/ CONGO
This is an ongoing SD international project. Funds are used to support teacher and school managementtraining for three schools in the Congo: Lemba Imbu, CS Iniki Scholl and Albadi School. Thisyear fundswere requested to assist in monitoring the projects. SDUSA granted them $2,000
QUEST CENTER – Portland, Oregon
The Quest Center For Integrative Health, located in Portland, Oregon, and founded by Lusijah Marx, pro-vides health services and support to people dealing with HIV, addiction recovery, cancer survival, andhomelessness, often through alternative health measures. Funds were requested for their Community Nu-trition Nights, which provides shared meals associated with wellness workshops. SDUSA granted them$5,500
SUBUD SAN DIEGO
$1,000 was given to Subud San Diego to furnish school supplies to a community of brickmaker's chil-dren in Tijuana, Mexico. The project directors are Mikail Collins and Athena Solbeck.

Q FUND
Chellie Kew has retired from the Q fund (which was set up to support the Chimoza school in Zambia) af-ter her husband passed away, but SDUSA gave her $5,000 to provide scholarship funds for a ChimozaSchool graduate in order for him to finish his university degree and return to the school as head teacher.

PEOPLE UNITED FOR A BETTER LIFE IN OAKLAND (PUEBLO)
PUEBLO is a multi-issue grass roots organization, founded by Rashidah Grinage, which assists peopleof low to moderate income in Oakland, California. One of its programs, Urban Youth Harvest, has helped Oakland's low income community by organizing youth to harvest otherwise unused fruit, whichis deliv-ered to seniors and others who can benefit nutritionally. Summer job training was provided forages 15-21 to carry out park improvements, community garden planning and installation, ecosystemrestoration with native plants, and other similar educational projects. SDUSA granted $4,000.

SDIA depends on the support of the national SD organizations to carry out its task of coordination anddevelopment of international SD efforts. SDUSA contributed $8,000.

SMILE PARTNERS -SEATTLE
Smile Partners provides oral healthcare to low income children and seniors in the Seattle area by means of a mobile truck equipped with dental facilities. Tooth decay is the most common chronic childhood disease, affecting almost six out of ten children by third grade. SDUSA gave $3000.
SUBUD INDONESIA -CLEAN WATER
SD Indonesia collaborated with Planet Water Foundation (PWF) to install a filtration tower that willproduce up to 10,000 liters of drinking water per day by removing bacteria and other contaminants withoutelectricity except for the intermittent pump. Each unit will supply local communities with clean water foryears and require minimal maintenance. SDUSA gave $5000 for one tower.
UMA -USAHA MULIA ABADI -MEXICO
UMA, established in 2008, is a program that provides nutritional supplements to low income children upto 8 years of age. The funding requested was for administration of the program in San Miguel Atlauta,Mexico. The grant is for measuring equipment, informational materials for parents and teachers, and de-livery of the product to the children’s schools. SDUSA granted $3,000.
YTS – YAYASAN TIMBUHAK SINTA - KALIMANTAN, INDONESIA
YTS was founded by Kalimantan Gold, begun by Subud members to discover gold and copper. Its mis-sion is to promote and support the sustainable and equitable development of Dayak communities inKalimantan. YTS supports education, health services, economic development, and infrastructure. Thegovernment recognizes the work of YTS in assisting the people to manufacture their own feed in lieu ofpurchase. SDUSA granted YTS $5,000
THE WOMEN’S WORLDWIDE INITIATIVE -TWWI -NEW YORK
This project was started by Uraidah Hassani in New York, NY. Funding was requested for Young WomenRock, a mentorship program for girls 14-18 in lower income communities. SDUSA granted $3.000.
YSS -YAYASAN SAUDARA SEJIWA - WEST JAVA, INDONESIA
Indonesian Disaster Risk Index released by the National Disaster Management Agency in 2011 statedthat the West Java was ranked 2nd among the provinces with a high level of vulnerability. One factor isthe number of threats that exist in the province of West Java such as volcanoes, ground move-ment, flooding, landslides, drought, earthquakes, tsunamis, and tornado like wind disaster.Disaster educa-tion in schools becomes the most important program conducted with the aim to help children playan important role in efforts to save lives and protect members of the public at the time of disaster.SDUSA gave $2,100 for educating children in disaster avoidance.
YPK-YAYASAN PERMAKULTUR KALIMANTAN - INDONESIA
YPK developed a Sustainable Land Management Program in response to the environmental and social issuesin the region of Central Kalimantan. As part of this program YPK will demonstrate alternative approaches toland management and a numerous strategies will be used in the small scale demonstration site. The availabilityof a functioning permaculture demonstration site is crucial to the success of this program as it will be the firstintegrated permaculture demonstration site in the region available to our target group. SDUSA granted $3,000
YUM – YAYASAN USAHA MULIA - KALAMANTAN, INDONESIA
YUM, founded in1960 helps the poorest of the poor, currently runs numerous sustainable social welfareand environmental projects in Kalimantan and Cipanas, West Java. Their programs include vocationaltraining for thousands of local villagers, computer and English language classes. SDUSA granted them$5,000.

Clean Water, sponsored by SD Indonesia with help from Planet Water corporate partners, assists in the con-
struction of water towers in the Jakarta, Indonesia area to provide clean water and community education intheir operation in targeted neighborhoods. SDUSA granted them $5,000, the cost of two water towers.
