• These things are easy to fix– Come to the Union events– Join some clubs– Make some friends who can lend you a floor

• Make the most of subsidised activities• There are over 300 to choose from• Also a great way to meet people from outside
your course• And you might find some friends who don’t
mind you crashing on their floor!

Student Oyster Card
• If you will be using the tube every day, get an 18+ Student Oyster for 30% off season tickets
• Apply online: photocard.tfl.gov.uk• Costs £5, but you easily make that back

• Many of you will be living outside of Zone 1• Make sure you know a late-night route back– Have a backup in case it isn’t available– Stay safe and be aware of your surroundings– Keep your phone charged!
