The Administrators’ DutiesAt over 90% of the Institutions:

• Maintains IACUC related records• Prepares for meetings (e.g. agendas and logistics)

At over 85%:• Prescreens IACUC protocols• Completes annual reports (e.g. OLAW, USDA and AALAC)• Writes the IO report, and answers related questions for the IO

At over 75%• Trains new IACUC members• Facilitates the renewal of the PHS Assurance• Ensures deficiencies (i.e. program reviews & inspections) are satisfied• Facilitates and manages IACUC investigations• Ensures non-compliance sanctions are tracked and satisfied

The Administrators’ Duties (Continued)
