A discretionary grant for owners of empty properties who are in receipt of either a grant or a loan from the Council.

This type of assistance is intended to help the following groups of people and property:

• Private owners of empty dwellings where the property is known to have been vacant for at least six months.

• Work which falls within part 1 to 4 of the Welsh Housing Quality Standard.

• Available by invitation only

• Available to owners of empty properties which are in receipt of a empty home grant or loan from Gwynedd Council, under the Private Sector Housing Private Sector Housing Policy 2012.

• This type of assistance is DISCRETIONARY

• There is no automatic entitlement to the maximum or to any award

• This type of assistance is intended to bring empty and redundant dwellings back into residential use.

• Properties in areas which have been identified as being in need of the Private Sector Leasing Scheme will receive priority.
