A loyal and faithful one will surely receive reward
Fruit of the Spirit
The letter to the Galatians clearly tells us that faithfulness is an aspect of the influence of the Holy Spirit.. All through proverbs we are admonished to contain our speech and actions to faithfulness even when those in leadership are unfaithful.
To betray leadership with unfaithful and imprudent talk brings repayment not reward. Our thought is to gain ground with others through revelation of “secrets”. The end of such action is not pretty.
Why We Do It.
The enticements of promise pull us into sticky webs.
Again through Proverbs we see the tales of the wicked and adulterous woman and those bent on theft and destruction. They entice into wrong behavior and betrayals. It is not the woman so much as anyone that pulls us away from faithfulness. Those that pull us aside for conversations and examinations are up to no good thing. The end will be repayment.
Have You Done It?
Ever been pulled aside by a superior and asked how you feel about someone else?
Ever been in a conversation about a leader over lunch or coffee that was negative?
Ever had someone tell you how much they appreciate a person and then get you to reveal a trusted conversation with that other person?
Breaking Free
It takes courage and forthrightness to break out of the enticement.
It takes loyalty and goodness to stay faithful and full of right action.
Stay on the straight path. Avoid the side tracks and side conversations.
Look straight ahead. Don’t be constantly looking for new opportunities when what you have is a good thing.
Remember those who have encouraged you and fed you. Defend and protect them against side intrusions.
Staying Strong
A life of faithfulness is a life of blessing. Playing politics may advance our income. Staying secure will advance our physical
health and general emotional well being. Much income with much trouble is not a
life worth living. Much blessing of soul and heart and body
and joy in the depths cannot be replaced with titles and dollars.
Prayer
Father, I give blessing over the life of my friend. Be a guide of sure faithfulness to them. Ensure a safe and direct path for them. Engage their heart to be faithful to all relationships. Pull them from the enticements of personal advancement at the expense of goodness and kindness and gentleness and self-control and faithfulness. Deliver them from such situations and people that would entice. Bring them into friendships that are full of faithfulness and show them leaders to follow that honor and reward goodness and loyalty.
